Bill Garton

Bill Garton was a member of Troop 113 from 1997 until 2004. He was the first author on this site.

He achieved the rank of Life Scout, was a member of the Order of the Arrow, Unami Lodge, and was a Senior Patrol Leader.

In 2001, he attended Philmont with Expedition 625D7.

Some of his favorite memories in scouts include getting lost on a fire trail at Philmont, taking the canoeing merit badge multiple times at Resica Falls, boulder hopping down the Bushkill, late night fire watches and cooking heart attack sandwiches on an open fire at Delmont and, of course, trying to find dates to the dance at Daniel Boone.

Today, he lives in Collegeville, PA with his wife, Briana, and two children, James and Patrick. He is a Director of Site Contracts at a CRO and loves to golf, read and work in his yard. He can be reached at wgarton@gmail.com.
