Andrew Tait returning from Philmont with 628H

He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout on June 26, 2001 and was a member of the Order of the Arrow, Unami Lodge.

In 1999, he attended Philmont with Expedition 628H.

Some of his favorite memories in scouts include Mr. Gardner (“a great leader and person”), The Monster Box, playing Capture the Flag at night at Camp Fernbrook, spending a week every summer at Resica Falls (especially the Navajo campsite and jumping off Fossil Rock), hiking Mt. Baldy at Philmont, and being the Voice of the Eagle narrator for multiple Eagle Scout ceremonies.

Today, he lives in Spring Mount, PA with his wife, Becky, and his two kids, Drew and Charlotte (who are both involved in Scouting). He works in content operations for a major pharmaceutical company and loves to coach his kids in baseball/softball, listen to and play music, and spend time outdoors. He can be reached at andrewtait@comcast.net.
