Troop 113 was organized in early 1918, with Warren W. Walters of Trappe as the first Scoutmaster. He was quoted in forming the troop: “to train boys so they may become a credit to themselves, their parents, and the country, as well as
the U.S.” Since then, a number of leaders have taken the role to further this cause.
