William Koffel

William Koffel was a member of Troop 113 from 1967 to 1972.

He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 1972 and was a member of the Order of the Arrow, Unami Lodge. During his time with the Order of the Arrow he achieved the Vigil Honor, was a Lodge Chief and a Section Vice-Chief.

He attended multiple Order of the Arrow National Conferences, including the 13th Conference, held at the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1973. As an adult he has attended Philmont twice.

In 1972 he worked as a staff member at Resica Falls and one of his favorite memories in scouting is attending Resica with his son and sitting under the 1972 staff plaque.

Today he resides in Golden Canyon, AZ and Marshfield, MA (depending on the season). He is a fire protection engineer and President of Koffel Associates, an international fire protection engineering and code consulting firm. In his free time he enjoys hiking, camping and bicycling. He has completed Olympic Triathlons, century bike rides and recently completed a virtual cross-country bike ride. He can be reached at kaihq@aol.com.
